The Innovation and Participation Advisory Group (IPAG) is focused on issues specifically related to new technologies and business models, and consumer participation.

We are calling for nominations for the IPAG independent Chair.
The new Chair term starts 30 May 2020. An Advisory Group Chair’s term is normally for three years, but the current Chair has served for a shorter term due to the prior Chair resigning early.

The IPAG has delivered two major pieces of advice to the Authority: Equal Access was delivered in February 2019 and a final draft of the Access to input services (input services) was published in December, 2019. The Authority is currently processing the Input Services advice and the final copy will be published later in the year.
In February 2020, IPAG made a submission to MBIE’s Accelerating renewable energy and energy efficiency consultation paper.
