Addendum to dynamic load control service memo
- Code
- Compliance
We’ve issued an addendum to a Compliance Memo for approved auditors and metering equipment providers.
The addendum confirms the status of load control as required by the current Distributor Agreement template (Schedule 12A.4 Appendix A).
In August 2023, our Compliance Manager issued a memo to clarify metering equipment provider obligations under Part 11 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code to maintain fields in the registry about metering installations. We received feedback that the memo implied that it was permissible for traders to make arrangements for control of the same load that is already managed by the distributor, which was not intended.
Our addendum clarifies the status of load control.
