Call for nominations – Electricity Authority Advisory Group vacancy
- Corporate
The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko (Authority) established the Electricity Authority Advisory Group (EAAG) last year to provide independent advice on the Authority’s work programme. The EAAG also helps us to understand how our proposals and decisions might impact consumers and stakeholders.
We now have a vacancy in the advisory group and are seeking nominations from individuals who can contribute consumer and/or mana whenua insights and perspectives to the group.
We invite nominees to complete and return the nomination form by 6 March 2025 to info@ea.govt.nz.
All nominations will be considered against the membership criteria set out in the Terms of Reference. The following principles also guide how appointed members operate within the group:
- Membership will be based on a flexible approach with members able to opt-in and opt-out of a particular project(s) in line with their experience and expertise. Not all members need to participate in all activities.
- Members are selected for their individual and independent expertise and experience – not as representatives of their employer or part of the sector.
- Members will have varying views and perspectives given their experience in the industry and/or with consumer impact.
- Membership terms would be up to three years with rolling expiry dates across the group.
- The group operates according to the terms of reference.
More information on the advisory group can be found on the group page.
