Extension of consultation for reform of distribution pricing
- Distribution
- Prices
The Electricity Authority is extending its consultation timeframe for its Issues Paper on targeted distribution pricing reform that was released on 5 July 2023.
We have extended the timeframe for feedback and submissions by an additional week until 15 August 2023, followed by 2 weeks of cross submissions until 30 August 2023.
We recognise there is a lot of industry consultation taking place across the sector and this extension will hopefully enable stakeholders to engage more fully and easily.
A reminder that we are holding our online information webinar at 10.30am on Friday 21 July to discuss our issues paper, and for questions and answers. Information about the webinar is here
In addition, we are also proposing to hold industry workshops in regional centres of Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch in early September. These workshops will give stakeholders with another opportunity to engage with the Authority, and each other on the topics raised in the Issues Paper.
More details on when and where these workshops will be held will be made available in due course.
