Innovation in Energy Award finalist

We are thrilled to be a finalist, alongside Transpower and NZX, for the Innovation in Energy Award at this year’s Energy Excellence Awards.
The nomination recognises our work on real-time pricing. The implementation of real-time pricing is the biggest change to the wholesale electricity market since it started in October 1996. Real-time pricing will help unlock innovation in the electricity sector and encourage more participants to take part in the market with certainty around costs and benefits.
We are also pleased to be sponsoring the Outcomes Award which celebrates better energy outcomes for all New Zealanders. Congratulations to the finalists – Ecobulb, Flick Electric and Top Energy.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 30 August 2023.
