Register for Q&A forum: Wednesday 20 November

The Energy Competition Task Force was jointly established by the Electricity Authority and the Commerce Commission to investigate ways to improve the performance of the electricity market in the short to medium-term.

Each online Q&A forum will run for 1 hour, with 30 minutes on each of the two packages.

  • 4:00-4:30pm: Package 1 Enabling new generators and independent retailers to enter, and better compete in the market
  • 4:30-5:00pm: Package 2 Providing more options for end-users of electricity

We see these events as an opportunity to hear from market participants directly, respond to your questions and use this to help inform our policy development and communication resources.

Send your questions to taskforce@ea.govt.nz with 'Task Force Q&A' in the email subject line and register today.
