New audit portal and way to submit Part 16A audits
- Compliance
- Innovation
The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko is replacing the Retail and Audit Database - also known as RAD - with a new audit portal on the Authority’s Compliance portal.
RAD is currently used by certain industry participants that are required to submit audit and compliance plans under Part 16A of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010.
An updated Compliance portal will be available on Monday 21 October with the new web application system to submit audits. RAD will no longer be available to participants from 5pm Thursday 17 October.
We ask that participants who want to submit audits between 17 and 21 October 2024 wait for the new system to be live, or submit before 5pm, 17 October. For any queries, please contact compliance@ea.govt.nz.
The new audit portal will be easy to use and secure, with the same single login as other Authority web applications. This is managed through participants' details in the Participant register.
We kindly ask participants to check their details are up to date in the Participant register and include staff who submit audit and compliance plans so they can log in to the new system. For any queries, please contact participantregister@ea.govt.nz.
