New GM Strategic Communications and Engagement

Sally Aitken has been appointed as our General Manager, Strategic Communications and Engagement. She is an experienced leader, strategic advisor and communications professional with experience in local government, health, education, immigration and economics.

Sally worked for the Electricity Authority from 2018 to June 2022, after which she spent six months on contract at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand.

Sally returned as Acting Director in January 2023 and started as GM Strategic Communications and Engagement on 14 August 2023.
