Registry web API - Updates on participant's systems integration

  • Corporate
  • Retail

On 10 June 2024 the registry’s new API production endpoints will be activated. This means the system will move away from the existing XML format to a JSON protocol which is more up-to-date and secure. The new API is compliant with modern security standards and is easier for participants who use the registry to integrate it into their own systems.

The changes to the API which are being implemented are unchanged from the original proposal, with the benefits of these changes being pulled through to the new system.

If you have queries about the new API when it is activated on 10 June 2024, please contact the registry engineer or info@ea.govt.nz.
