Update to guidelines for dispatchable load purchaser audits
- Compliance
We have updated the Guideline for dispatchable load purchaser audits to reflect changes in the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010, following the implementation of real-time pricing and other minor Code amendments.
The guideline provides auditors with a framework for auditing dispatch capable load stations’ compliance with the Code obligations.
Dispatchable load purchasers are required to submit audits annually and include checking processes around:
- gathering and storing raw meter data
- creation and management of volume information, including validating, estimating, storing, correcting, and archiving
- submission of information to the grid owner and reconciliation manager.
