  • Distribution
  • Compliance

If you're a distributor, we're inviting you to join our webinar on how to implement Electricity Information Exchange Protocol 5A (EIEP5A) on 21 February 2024, 12.30-1.30pm.

EIEP5A planned service interruptions are the standardised data format for distributors to notify retailers of planned outages and changes to already notified planned outages.

New functionality will be mandatory for distributors from 1 April 2024. For more information, read this decision paper.

We welcome any questions or topics about EIEP5A in advance of the webinar to compliance@ea.govt.nz.

Grant Benvenuti, Principal Advisor, Market Policy will answer questions in advance and discuss these at the webinar.

Register for the webinar by Tuesday 20 February.
